Recognising that all students, staff and visitors should feel safe and welcome on campus, MBS FM were appointed to deliver the first all gender bathroom at Melba Copland Secondary School.

The bright green colour of the bathroom entry enables its users to easily identify the space while the curved partition wall allows for easy accessibility to the facilities while maintaining privacy.

Shortly after project commencement, lead paint and asbestos were found in the project site requiring additional remediation works that extended the program into the school term. MBS FM were able to adjust the works to be completed out of hours where required and deliver the project without excessive delay.

Throughout this project, the school remained fully operational as we embraced the challenges and took necessary precautions to complete the works in a live environment.
